Orientates to the planning, coordination, and provision of nursing care to patients on the critical care setting. Orientates to the supervision and delegating of care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice. Orientates to critical care nursing knowledge and skills applicable to but not limited to the care of patients with multi system failure requiring ventilation, neuro / trauma, respiratory failure, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification:Current CA RN LicenseCurrent BLS, ACLS CertificationsPassing completion of a Critical Care Nursing course.Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification:BSN and CCRN.Orientates to the planning and provision of nursing care to patients in the critical care units.
